Reading Time: < 1 minute Daily Wisdom Words: When you judge others, you got one finger pointing at them and three pointing right back at you. Picture this: you’re pointing your index in an accusing manner to someone else. Look at your hand. You’ll find three fingers folded, pointing at you! You make judgments based on your limiting beliefs, prejudices, fears and learned expectations. Therefore, your judgments are mirrors of your limitations and expectations. If you stop yourself and examine your judgments, you will be able to discover the learned limitations that may be holding you back or limiting your potential. Use judgment as a mirror to free yourself from judgment. Daily Question: When you are judged, how do you feel? When you judge others, how do you feel? Please share. Send to Kindle
Reading Time: < 1 minute Daily Wisdom Words: If you use judgment when you are scared, you are feeding your fear. To release fear, open your heart and listen. When you open your heart and listen, you practice compassion, receptivity and connection, three virtues from the Sacred Feminine. We often refuse to do this for three reasons: Opening our heart makes us feel vulnerable. Listening to new ideas is walking in the Unknown, and uncertainty scares us. Blaming is easier than standing in your power and allowing others to stand in theirs. Daily Question: What has judgment ever taught you? Now think. What has compassion taught you? Reading Time: < 1 minute Daily Wisdom Words: Judgment polarizes, creating war and conflict. Compassion allows us to find what unites us. If you have not, then you are simply projecting your limitations and closing off to difference and diversity. This is the “I’m’ right, you’re wrong” attitude at the bottom of wars and conflicts. Become an agent of peace through non-judgment. Compassion allows us to open our heart and ears to listen, understand and find what unites us, so that we can leave in harmony and celebrate our differences.
