The Ego does not want to look bad. The Ego does not want to be exposed.
It does not want any revelation, lesson or change that takes place in relationship, in public, anywhere except in the privacy of its protective carcass.
The thing is inside that carcass there is no revelation. No exploration. Safety is achieved through adherence to the status quo.
Therefore, Ego resists change.
When Ego focuses your attention in what others will think or say about you; in how you look to others, it is blindsiding you to the miracles and possibilities bestow on you through action and interaction.
The water is turning into wine, but the Ego is worried about what the Temperance league will publish in their next review.
The leper is being cured, but the Ego is worried about the scab soiling the floor.
The dead is being resurrected, but the Ego is worrying about the wrinkles in the bedspread.
Why can faith help us get out of our limiting perception?
Because faith is your connection to your Divinity and your Soul, who know that your limitations are a mirage.
Your Ego Self confuses those limitations with your identity and is attached to and therefore trapped in them.
Faith is the winged wisdom of your Divinity that flies you out of that cage.
When you are worried about what others will think or say, you are projecting your fears and judgment onto the world.
Switch to listening to your Divine Self or your Soul and your projections dissolve to reveal your potency.
Then you will see and seize the miracles.
