I was working with a seasoned activist in the process of BodySourcing(tm) –which allows you to find out the truth in your body and to connect to your BodySoul as your Personal Compass.
She was at a threshold of obtaining something she had fought for a long time. So why was she in the middle of high anxiety and resistance?
But when we went deep into her resistance and fear, we realized something that completely surprised us both.
It felt safe to struggle and fight for it. It felt familiar. But getting it, actually enjoying it… there was no place for it in her psyche!
She had never enjoyed anything even remotely similar to this goal. Therefore her subconscious mind was sending danger signals to her whole body. Getting this dream was dangerous because it was unknown.

For your desires, your Dreams, your right to be you, your right to embody your purpose fully, your right to speak your truth… whatever it is that you are right now fighting for.

“A Place for Roses” is a novella that depicts my own struggle with manifesting what I wanted and how I discovered that I had inherited my inability to receive it from my family.
In this novella, I share my story of a holiday with my aunt, though it’s fictionalized to protect her privacy and magnify the shamanic tracking that helped me understand the truth I share with you today.
“A Place for Roses” got its title when I took a dozen gorgeous roses to my old aunt (let’s call her Emma).
- First, she began to fret about, complaining that she did not have where to place the roses.
- Then she began to throw them nervously, chaotically into an old vase without previously filling it with water. The roses were falling to the floor.
- Then she said that the roses were not for her. No. They were too beautiful. Too expensive. She would give them to her ancestors. She would put them in her altar. She wanted to get rid of the roses as fast as she could, to pass them on, NOT to receive them.
As I saw her struggle, my heart broke. It broke for her and for myself.
My heart broke for her because she was not allowing herself to receive the beauty, love, magic and harmony that the roses bring.
It broke for myself because she was not receiving my love. To me, she was as beautiful and precious as the roses I chose, but she could not receive how much I valued her.

Can you receive the followers, fans or audiences that get your message? Can you receive the beloved that values you deeply?
