The Messenger of Hope

There is a Goddess living in that crack.

That wound you carry is sacred.

That scratch, that lump, that burning pain,

that toxic, damaging rubbish inside you,

the illness you resent and see

as your enemy and destruction

is a threshold into your Unique Essence;

a key into your Life Purpose;

a guide into your deepest truth.

You see it all the time.

The field is plastered in cement.

The yard is covered in debris.

All life seems to be dead and buried.

Then, out of the smallest crack,

the fresh, green shoot emerges.

It is the Messenger of Hope.

Your Hope.

Its message blossoms in its leaves:

You have the power to heal anything.
