One of the most insidious maladies that affect humanity is perfectionism. It is a monumental hindrance, and if you are working to manifest a dream, embody your purpose or express your gifts in the world, this is ~ no doubt about it~ one of your worse enemies.
The Perfectionist is a Shadow ~Defensive Inner self~ in you that convinces you that nothing you do is good enough. You have to fix it. You have to do more, try harder. She focuses on any little detail, compares it with others and pushes you to do more, do better, try harder, struggle, do it alone and with great effort. She keeps you spinning your wheels on place. You’ll never get off the gate if you listen to her!
The antidote to The Perfectionist lies deep within your heart and soul. It is your connection with Divine Source; a union that lets you experience yourself as an expression of Divinity, a Divine Child beloved by Divinity and brought to this world for a purpose. This creates a state of unconditional self-love and self-acceptance, without judgment. The state arises from your Soul and spreads through your heart as gratitude for your Sacred Self and your life.
Shift your attention from your mind into your heart and listen to your Soul. Unlike The Perfectionist, who speaks in a booming voice; your Soul speaks softly. Listen to the Infinite Whisper and shift into the wisdom of your heart.
Allow the gratitude for being one with Divinity spread through your heart as gratitude and pour this vibration into yourself as unconditional love and self-acceptance, without judgment.
Do this as meditation once a day for 21 days. Once you master the process you will be able to do the shift instantly. Practice doing it every time you catch yourself judging or pushing yourself or finding fault with your work.
