Where are you stuck?

You know where you are stuck because that is the place where all your “yes, butses,” “Whatifses” and excuses wrestle each other into an entanglement.

You know because it is sticky.

It’s like a mouse trap. You can’t get out of it without skinning yourself alive, and who wants to do that?

But here’s another way to see this.

The Knot is the place where your Great Fear weaves its threads of entanglement —like Spider’s web— to trap your flight.

If you’ve ever have to free a pet from a mouse trap, you know the way out of stuck.

The way out of the sticky place is anointment.

You anoint yourself with oil and that allows you to slip away, open your wings and fly free.

What is the anointment? What is this oil?

Anointment is the act of looking at your Great Fear on the face, picking it up with tender compassion, examining it closely to feel what it is made of, and then release it.

The oil for this ceremony is the catalyst agent that allows you to release your Great Fear.

And that alchemical substance is your BIG WHY.

It is your purpose, love, passion or your heart-held cause. It is your Soul’s potent intent. It is bigger than you, made of your Greatness and it connects you from within to the Universe and to a greater humanity.

Anoint yourself from head to toe in your BIG WHY. Rub it into any part of yourself or your life that is stuck.

Anoint your Great Fear with your BIG WHY… and fly out of that tangle into your brightest potential.
