Immigrants Deportation:
It Started with a “Little” Lie,
but Where is this Heading?

What we are facing as a nation is so huge and disastrous that many of us are paralyzed, confused or overwhelmed—or all three at once. But we can’t afford to be passive. The dismantling of our country is moving so fast that we need to respond immediately, from a place of clarity and empowerment, to safeguard democracy now. I hope this post helps you do just that.

In approaching the political mayhem that we face, I add my perspective as a shaman working during a period of cosmic transformation and human evolutionary quantum leap. So I’m moving up and down, connecting “above to below,” national politics to the patterns of forces beyond our control—cosmic, planetary and evolutionary. From this perspective, we can get a clear picture of the Immigration Deportation, its cause and its goal and what we can do about it.

What is this about and why you need to read this whole post

This post begins with the first raids for immigrant detention in New York City, where I live. These small-scope raids started with deception to disguise the violation of New York’s sanctuary status and other laws.

But even before I finish documenting these raids, Trump switches to full on attack. The efforts to dismantle our democracy are moving fast. We will look at why and what to do. So hang up tight!

In a few weeks, we see the raids increasing from 20 arrests to thousands of arrests per day. We will see how the lie that we are “going only after criminals” moves swiftly to the escalation of immigrant deportation into indiscriminate persecution of people of color and violation of human rights.

I then move the lens out to look at the pattern in order to track down the true intention—where this is going—if we let it. And how not to let it!

Finally, I move the lens up for us to understand what is at stake at the human, planetary and evolutionary level.

What I want to share with you here is this:

If we allow Trump’s regime to steal our eyes, imposing his perception to stoke our fear, we will perceive a small reality that he is painting with fear. We will panic. We will become overwhelmed and paralyzed. And we will give him the win because that is his goal. Instead of giving up as he wants, we need to rise in unity to protect our democratic structures.

We need to claim back our perception from this constant deception and obfuscation. We need to widen our lens, unmask his deception and stand in our massive We, the People power to take consistent, immediate and unified actions to guard our democracy and stop each and every one of his advances into fascism. He may be acting as if he was a fascist dictator. But we are not there yet.

There are democratic structures standing between him and his ambition. And we have the power to hold them strong.

I know we are used to scan emails and read short text. We get impatient with long posts. But I hope that you take time to read this entire post so that you are equipped to take effective action and to empower others. In the Name of Protection

We are looking now at one of the first raids for immigrant deportation in New York City. It can reveal:

1. How Trump works his policy under the smokescreen of lies, often constructed to simultaneously seed fear and then pretend to protect us from that fictitious threat,
2. What we must change in ourselves to effectively change what is going on,
3. How this chaos is part of the wobbliness of the Pachackuti—or world evolutionary quantum leap, and
4. How the pieces of the puzzle—when looked at as a whole—form a wider and sinister picture of the true design in the regime of Trump and his oligarchic cadre.

Ok? Ready? Let’s go to it!

The first raids in New York City expose how Trump often mixes blatant truth (“I’m going to deport millions of immigrants”) with sneaky obfuscations (“We are going after criminals”). This confuses people about his intention and gives him the time to advance his actions before We, the People can understand and respond to what is truly happening.

We need to get wiser to these machinations. Confusion and paralysis can cost us our nation, our freedom and our lives.

So here we are, witnessing a classical first raid in New York City.

Mayor Eric Adams has been ambivalent if not downright contradictory in his position in respect to immigrant deportation in NYC. But he is cooperating with Trump. The rumor on the vine is that he is kissing the ring in order to get some help with corruption charges. This political drama is crammed with corrupt guys. They are magnetized to Trump. So our NYC Mayor wants to downplay his cooperation and the betrayal of our Sanctuary state laws by saying that he is only cooperating with deportations of known criminals.

Officially, under New York’s sanctuary policies, city authorities generally will only hold suspects for ICE who have been convicted of violent crimes. ICE no longer has an office at the city jail on Riker’s Island.

But is it true that local officers and agencies are only helping with criminal arrests?

In this early raid the Washington Post describes that “under the cover of darkness, 20 teams of federal agents and officers” arrested around 20 people during the night.”

Of those arrested, there was a Yemeni suspect who officials allege is on the FBI’s terrorist list, a suspected human rights violator from Myanmar and a Dominican man wanted by Interpol for an alleged homicide, not in the USA, but in a foreign country.

That’s three people from the 20 arrested. The arresting officials then say that eight arrested people do not have criminal records. So why were they arrested? That leaves 9 more persons about whom we know nothing; which probably means that they were not criminals either.

However, Trump and the authorities have been presenting these early raids as “concentrating” on the criminal elements. An interesting phrase because it does not say that they are only going after criminals, but only that they are “concentrating” on that.

Many immigrants and Latinos are buying it. They then spread it through social media. According to the Washington Post, a bodega owner and several Latinos were rating the raid a success, believing that it was doing an effective job “cleaning the streets of New York.”

However, the numbers tell a different story. Three out of 20 arrests indicates that only 15% of the arrested immigrants had any criminal record and even those had no record of crimes in this country. So how are you cleaning the streets from crimes with these numbers?

But the Latinos interviewed are buying the lie—whether out of wishful thinking or believing the press, they believe that the raids are designed to clean NYC from the criminal elements.

Buying into this deception creates a false security that this is not about deportation to immigrants, but only to criminals.

And when we hear this and relax, we are letting ourselves wide open to the escalating raids, believing that nothing will happen to us or our families.

But when we look at the target numbers for deportation: “millions and millions of criminal aliens” –we begin to see that these initial small raids are just a test and perhaps a smokescreen to what is intended.

There are not millions of criminal aliens in the USA. We would be living in a pandemonium. What we have is millions of illegal immigrants. About 11 million undocumented immigrants lived in the United States as of 2022. And we have millions of legal immigrants. During that same year there were 30 million immigrants in the workforce, most of them legal.

1. If we look at the actual numbers of that raid, the truth is that 17 people of the 20 were not identified as criminals. Who are they? We don’t know. And those identified as criminals had crimes that had nothing to do with New York City or the USA.
2. If we now go for the numbers in Trump’s goals, we are talking about thousands of arrested immigrants per raid. Using the rate in the previous raid, we may end up with only 15% having to do with crime at all and 85% who are framed in that context but are most likely Latino immigrants who are legal citizens or undocumented immigrant workers or something in-between. Yet, the raid is framed as targeting criminals.
3. This is misleading and creates a false sense of security— even approval among Latinos and immigrants themselves– leading to tragic consequences once they fall for the lie and find their families broken and themselves detained.
4. It also generates support from the American citizens for immigrant deportations among those that do not realize that this is a lie. It generates biases against immigrants on the belief that they are the source of violence in our communities. That is how Trump garnishes populist support for the atrocities he produces.

FACT: Immigrants Have Nothing to do with Crime in the USA!

The first thing Trump did during his first presidency was repeatedly declare that immigrants were criminals. He repeated it so often that people believed that the crime in the USA was mainly caused by immigrants. Now they were scared and wanted those criminals gone.

But remember when he said: “Why can’t we have ‘nice’ immigrants?” What would those be? Irish, Italian, Russian, you know, white immigrants. So understand this: Trump’s actions are not really about immigrants. They are about people of color, mostly Latino, Muslims and third-world country immigrants… for now.

So that’s what Trump wants you to associate with criminality. That’s the population he has blamed for the crime in the USA.

But is it true?

However, a robust body of research shows that welcoming immigrants into American communities not only does not increase crime, but can actually strengthen public safety. In fact, immigrants—including undocumented immigrants—are less likely to commit crimes than the U.S.-born. This is true at the national, state, county, and neighborhood levels, and for both violent and non-violent crime.

The American Immigration Council compared crime data to demographic data from 1980 to 2022, the most recent data available. The data showed that as the immigrant share of the population grew, the crime rate declined. In 1980, immigrants made up 6.2 percent of the U.S. population, and the total crime rate was 5,900 crimes per 100,000 people. By 2022, the share of immigrants had more than doubled, to 13.9 percent, while the total crime rate had dropped by 60.4 percent, to 2,335 crimes per 100,000 people. Specifically, the violent crime rate fell by 34.5 percent and the property crime rate fell by 63.3 percent.[1]

There are many other studies and data showing that there is no correlation between immigrants and the raise or crime in this country. Trump knows this. The GOP knows it. But blaming others—targeted others—is one of their tactics to distract and divide.

So that’s how it works. You repeat a lie that scares people. You make it a boogieman. Lies like the immigrant crime, the boogieman of communism—a political system that no longer exists in reality—or DEI making planes crash. You then blame a vulnerable group for these real or inexistent evils, and you keep repeating it until it spreads.

When we are scared, we become stupid. Our higher brain functions are sequestered by our “flee, freeze or fight” defense mechanism. We go into survival mode and we tend to see strangers as enemies. That’s why it works.

Once a good number of people fall for the lie and are scared, then Trump sweeps in with “protection” measures—and we let him. We are even grateful. We even applaud it.

In a tragic twist, we see immigrants themselves applauding this early raids and talking about those “recent immigrants who are criminals”—believing this has nothing to do with them.

They will be totally unprepared to deal with what will befall them as the raids become indiscriminate and spread into larger numbers of arrests (which they are already doing as we will see in a minute).

These immigrants will find their families broken apart, their children lost to them and watch as they are incarcerated and shipped to unimaginable futures.

If we seek to evolve as humans in compassion, the honoring of the dignity of all people and justice for all, then that’s what we want to avoid.

• In the first place, we want to stop massive immigrant deportations, as they have no purpose but to initiate Ethnic Cleansing. That’s where this is heading, my people!

If we cannot do that or before we get there, we then want to:

• We want our immigrants to have the information, resources and help they need to create alternative routes; to have Plan A, Plan B and Plan C. We want them to be able to prevent deportation as much as it is possible. If not, we want them to have the information and resources to protect their families and assets. Right now the terror and confusion is such that many immigrants are self-deporting to gain some control of their destiny. Even more tragic: according to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, parents are leaving their children in the care of neighbors and self-deporting themselves in an attempt to control where they land so that they can reconstruct their life and reunite their family as soon as possible. I cannot even imagine the unspeakable heartbreak and trauma for parents and children to go through this hell!
• We want our immigrants to have the adaptability to design an alternative future for themselves and their loved ones other than the one the Trump regime plans for them. And we want them to do it with the right information and resources and with the less trauma possible.

And we want to stop Trump’s policies of terror, scapegoating and massive deportations.

What We Must Change in Ourselves to Effectively Change What is Going On

The seeding of fear is an old tactic often used by autocrats and fascists. Nothing new. In fact, it is as old as war.

And that is why we need to change this.

As long as we live in a state of fear-based survival, we will give our power away to bullies who instill fear and then offer to protect us. We will feel helpless, overwhelmed and disempowered. In this state, we are easy prey to human predators.

In the Pachakuti –or quantum evolutionary leap—
that we are experiencing right now,
we are moving from a 3^rd dimensional way of living
to a 5^th dimensional way of being.
This evolutionary quantum leap demands
that we shift from an identity of fear, survival and victimhood
to an identity of freedom, unity consciousness and creative agency.

So that is what we are called to do right now. We are summoned to do it through the experience of contrast.

How did we get here?

In the last election, we had the opportunity to protect democracy and begin to evolve it into diversity, ecological restoration and justice for all. Many of us voted for that choice.

Unfortunately, the majority of We, the People –yes, it was a small but significant majority—chose a bully who scared us and then offered fascist policies in the guise of protection.

We chose a white patriarchal man who showed dominance as power. We chose this instead of a multi-cultural, multi-racial leadership calling for unity, democracy and restoration of our planet (I’m not saying the alternative was perfect or that those who voted for Trump did not have valid points. I’m not interested in judgment and division right now).

But here’s the bottom line: this choice, like everything we do, had consequences. We cannot escape the consequences of our acts unless we generate alternative acts to transmute our choices.

Right now, during these first months of the Trump regime, while he tests the limits of democracy and find ways to dismantle it, we are now offered the opportunity to learn through contrast and to amend or transmute our previous choices.

We get to see how fast a country can be dismantled, how our freedoms crumble under autocracy, how the oligarchy comes out of hiding to steal the national treasury and send workers back to feudalism and how cruelty, chaos and terror can substitute the imperfect but constructive structures of democracy. We are seeing this play live in real time right now.

And we get to choose whether we stand up as creators of our world, as citizen leaders and make choices that lead to unity, freedom and equality; or whether we keep reacting from fear, giving our power away to bullies and allow our whole nation to be destroyed for the looting of the billionaires.

If we do not choose to become the Creator Being, to assume our creative agency and become active leaders of democracy: then the next way we will learn will be through consequences.

We will then go through the events that Trump is preparing. We will suffer the ethnic cleansing he is designing to Make America White Again. We will live in a fascist regime like that of Hitler not so long ago.

Our economy, human rights, rules of law, international relations and ecological balance will be destroyed. Our nation will be unrecognizable from the country that chose democracy as a path to human evolution.

But we are not there yet. This is important. We are presented with possible consequences, but we have the capacity to change them through our united actions. We still live in a democracy and have access to its laws and structures.

Those of us who can see, those of us who did not choose this and those of us who are opening our eyes need to share our perspectives in a respectful and empathic way, in a way that honors the human dignity of others.

We need to consistently share as much truth and proven information and resources as we can while sustaining our own wellbeing.

And we need to take action to support and sustain our democratic structures and process.

Fast Forward to the Present Raids

The week after those first raids, Trump placed high quotas for the raids and called ICE officials to operate more aggressively. On the following Sunday to the raid mentioned above in NYC, ICE made 1179 arrests. We don’t know who the arrested were.

Now they are shutting down 25 Immigrant Shelters in New York City as I write this.

As of early February, here’s a description by Action Network of the current raids taking place across our nation:[2]

Heavily armed federal ICE agents are now storming homes, workplaces, and even schools, tearing families apart in early-morning raids, and making more than 1,000 arrests on some days. These raids are terrorizing immigrant communities across the country, operating with blatant disregard for constitutional rights and basic human dignity.

Immigrants — many of whom have lived in the U.S. for decades — are being dragged from their communities without warning, often with no opportunity to contact a lawyer. In some cases, ICE is using deception — posing as police officers or delivering fake court summons — to lure people out before arresting them. This is a deliberate campaign of fear, targeting individuals who have committed no crime beyond seeking a better life.

Trump’s mass deportation machine isn’t just targeting undocumented immigrants — it’s violating civil rights, tearing families apart, and racially profiling people of color, including U.S. citizens and legal residents. ICE and Border Patrol agents have been caught wrongfully detaining American citizens and legal residents simply for “looking foreign.”

People of color are subjected to violence and excessive force. Even Native Americans and Puerto Ricans, who should never have to “prove” their right to exist in their own land, are being harassed and detained. In Arizona and New Mexico, federal agents have unlawfully stopped, interrogated, and detained Native residents simply because they are brown.

And it doesn’t end with mass deportations. The Trump administration is also attacking the constitutional right to birthright citizenship, a direct assault on the 14th Amendment. This administration is emboldening federal agencies — ICE, Customs & Border Patrol, and the FBI — to ignore the law, abuse their power, and endanger communities nationwide.

Now the first immigrants have been sent to Guantanamo, the site of illegal Iraq War detentions and torture, where Trump has announced he plans to eventually hold more than 30,000 immigrant detainees.

Some government officials and advocacy organizations are fighting back in court, but Congress must do more. Lawmakers must defund ICE raids and detention centers, conduct oversight visits to expose inhumane conditions, and speak out forcefully. But they will only act if we demand it. (Sign this petition here.)

So that is where we stand today.

Meanwhile, with officers from the Department of Justice helping ICE, the pursue of real local criminal investigations is actually suffering, according to Patrick PJ Lechleitner, who retired as ICE acting director this month.

What is going on?

The Portal has opened: Ethnic Cleansing has begun

As we saw, immigrants and crime are not correlated. So why did Trump focused on them? Because there is an archetypal and historical fear and distrust of “the other” or strangers in our human psyche. Blaming immigrants is the easiest way to trigger our fear.

But not all immigrants are the target. Are they? Only those immigrants of color. That is the portal that has been opened. Where does it lead?

It’s not hard to see that it leads to the deportation of people of color. It’s not a coincidence that Puerto Ricans, who are born as US citizens and Native Americans, who are the original inhabitants of this land have been “mistakenly” included in arrests. They are going for brown people. And next in list are the African-Americans.

Immigrant Deportation is simply a portal towards Ethnic Cleansing.

Why would Trump Regime be heading in that direction? Let’s not forget that Trump’s core following is MAGA—a white supremacist movement. Would they bigotry go as far as Ethnic Cleansing?

The Truth Behind Deportation: MAGA’s Fear of White Replacement

Just see the writing on the wall. Trump’s regime is trying to open the portal to remove the birthright citizenship and deport those immigrants who were born here. This creates a precedence that can then expand to deport Puerto Ricans and other United States citizens, and finally get rid of African-Americans and other citizens of color.

What is behind this massive immigrant deportation is not crime. In 2021 there was a scientific study done with the imprisoned insurrectionists. The study showed that the principal motivator for the insurrection and the fear that is driving MAGA to violent action is the believe in the White Replacement Theory.[3]

In other words, a small but significant number of white males in the United States are terrified that people of color are becoming the majority, which to them means that they, the white people, will become the minority.

White women are reproducing at a lower rate than Latino and African-American women, so these white males fear that they will either become a powerless minority or will become extinct. This is the fear behind MAGA and the fear that fuels Trump’s regime.

When these white conservative males who—according to an investigative journalist who lived among them—share a “masculinist” view of life, seeing women as property and power as domination; hear the concepts of diversity, financial equity or inclusion and when they see programs like DEI what they feel is that their white privileges are being taken away.

Immigrants are just easy targets to blame because they are foreigners, the archetypal “other.” But they are just a first step.

Separating us and getting us to fight with one another served the purpose of blurring this core issue and keeping us from coming together to defend diversity—which is the boogeyman for MAGA.

With this in mind, review the three of the first issues MAGA has attacked:

1. Taking control of women’s bodies for reproduction control,
2. Dismantling DEI to destroy equal opportunity for people of color, and
3. Starting deportations of people of color, first by alleging focusing on criminals, then spreading to all immigrants and then possibly widening it to all people of color.[ii]

Remember: MAGA is a white supremacist group, and Trump is a white supremacist that wants absolute power. Just looking at their actions until now shows a clear pattern of fascist moves, an intention of dismantling the structures of democracy so that he can rule as a dictator and can advance policies that are clearly anti-constitutional.

But we are not there yet.

We are still in a democratic country where there are three levels of structures creating check and balances in any presidential mandate. These check and balances still stand on the way of Trumps’ goal of becoming an autocrat.

If this is so, why does it look like Trump is moving with impunity and no one is opposing him?

1. He did win majority in both House and Senate. And unfortunately, the GOP seems to say yes to almost everything he says. But “almost” is still operative. The more outlandish and anti-constitutional his policies become, the more resistance there is even among the GOP to go with them.

Therefore, by pressuring the congress, we let them know we are watching and do not approve of any anti-constitutional, illegal of fascist policy. This is key in sustaining our democratic structures.

• Because of this majority, Democrats do not have control of the Committees and cannot initiate investigations. According to AOC, this means that Democrat representatives have to circumvent this constraint and work more creatively. They are also human and standing up when you are a tiny minority is scary. Alexandria also believes that too often democrats in Congress tend to give in—in order to achieve bi-partisan agreements or play nice.

This means that the more letters and calls we send our representatives letting them know we want them to stand against Trump’s policies and defend democracy, the stronger our representatives will stand. And finally,

• The reason Trump is working so fast seemingly without opposition in his first weeks of office—with policy after crazy policy, deportation, DOGE’s illegal actions, absurd nominations and one thing after another so that it seems chaotic, nonsensical and overwhelming—and there is a reason that will make it all make sense— is that he wanted to do as much damage as possible while congress has been in recess. Now that the representatives are back from their districts, according to AOC they have already prepared 20 legal suits and drafted a 10-point strategy to put a stop to Trump’s madness.

Now hopefully the pieces fall into place. Trump took advantage of that Congress recess to create accelerated, aggressive attacks on democracy that seemed uncontested. His goal? To create a perception that he is already a dictator and there is nothing anyone can do. Why? To defeat us as we give up right from the start.

And thus, this is why we need to wake up and act right now.

We will look at the cosmic context of this political drama first, and then we will go over what you can do to help protect democracy and minimize damages during the mass deportation.

How is this Chaos Part of the Wobbliness of the Pachakuti—or World Evolutionary Quantum Leap?

We are going through a Pachakuti or World Reversal at this moment. The Mesoamerican Shamans have been keeping the wisdom of this periodical cosmic upheavals for centuries. They tell us that while evolution is a slow process, during the periods of a Pachakuti there is a quantum leap in evolution.[5]

According to the shamans and other wisdom keepers decoding this knowledge, this particular Pachakuti has “downloaded” the consciousness of unity into the human awareness so that we can evolve from fear and separation into freedom and unity. This is our next level evolution.

World reversals are notoriously chaotic as new growth clashes with old practices and resistance fights transformation. They have also been called Kairos Moments by the Greeks and described as moments of utter and massive unpredictability, chaos, conflict and multiple simultaneous disasters where the unknown is the only constant.

There are often “purges” where everything that has been hidden, repressed or unaddressed—including our human Shadows—emerges to the surface to be purified and released. Sometimes it may feel like the human collective is going through a fever, battling a malaise that needs to be eradicated.

Mythologist Michael Meade advises that during these turbulent times we need to let go of habits, comfort and attempts to control what is going on and instead focus on the astonishing possibilities that open up when everything is undergoing a transfiguration.

During these periods the universe is very wobbly. Anything can happen. The course of events can change unpredictably and swiftly. As it happened in election day last November, things can unravel in unpredictable ways.

But for shamans who worked in co-creation with the universe, the transformation itself is revealing of the direction of the growth that the cosmos desires and indicative of what the universe is shaking off.

Shamans understand that to walk in the Unknown is to surrender to a state of co-creation where we enter Oneness. We let go of our illusion of control and we “surf” or flow with what is, listening to what emerges in the here and now. If we have an open, fluid mind, then we can see the different layers or paths in a situation and how they are interacting. Through what is happening in these Kairos Moments we see what needs to be released, what needs to be nourished and the consequences of our different choices.

About the current Pachakuti, shamans and wisdom keepers are talking about the download of Unity Consciousness into the human awareness, which started around 2011-12 and illuminates this evolutionary quantum leap.

Shamans and other spiritual workers are also guiding us through the shift from 3^rd dimension consciousness (fear-based survival and separation) to 5^th dimensional consciousness (freedom and Unity Consciousness.)

When you see the disaster we are facing, you may protest that it is the opposite of Unity consciousness.

That is what often happens in world reversals. The movement forward is interfered with by the movement backwards, the resistance to change. This clash of forces creates chaos and uncertainty. We experience it as an unbearable shakiness in everyday life.

And this is what we are experiencing.

MAGA wants to go back to a time of white plantation owners and black slaves, to a time when women were non-citizens without right to vote, much less work or hold property, to a time where there was a white male aristocratic or feudal upper class and the rest of the world struggled.

And to do this, they want to dig into fear, hatred, separation and bigotry.

This has added a human layer to the already chaotic period of this Pachakuti, but it is all part of the dance of transfiguration.

So what are we to do?

We are to grow out of being slaves into being the Creator Being.

We need to shift from humans who are trapped in survival fear, preoccupied with their subsistence and easily manipulated through fear—into humans that identify with their power as a creator and who come together with others to create a world that serves all—not just a few. These humans are Citizen Leaders instead of giving their power away to dominant patriarchs who call themselves leaders but have no loyalty to We, the People.

We need to grow into the Citizen Leaders that Evolved Democracy needs. Right now, we were moving towards the growth of diversity. The MAGA backlash has pulled us back into a historical karma of supremacy and slavery.

That is why during his last months in office, Biden dedicated his days to heal our historical karma. He asked forgiveness from the Native Americans. He visited Angola and stood on the very place from where Africans were taken prisoners and made slaves and in that place he declared that slavery was the United States’ original sin and ran countered to our constitution. With these actions, he took the first steps towards the healing of that MAGA mentality that lingers in this nation.

We now must do our part. We must refuse to censor the terms diversity, inclusion and racial and financial equity. We must refuse to have the advances we have achieved erased and send us back into hatred, apartheid, white male supremacy and the theft of our human rights and dignity.

We are to come together to create a world that honors the Sacred Feminine and listens to the wisdom of women in order to balance the patriarchal definition of power as dominance and the pyramidal structure of power that demands those in the bottom to carry the weight of those in the top. Instead we are to come together in a circle which Native wisdom calls the Circle of Life. This is the evolution of democracy. Diversity is its catalyst.

We are to bravely face the oligarchy that wants to enthrone itself and is reaching out for our data, support programs, social security and income (via taxes that will go up again as the oligarchy is now secretly planning, increased workers exploitation and even more price gauging). We must put a stop to their never-ending hunger-greed. We must kick them out of the unconstitutional power they are seeking.

MAGA opposes engaged citizens– but only when they support democracy and include diversity. The Trump regime wants to destroy any evolution of democracy because it moves us into unity, equality and justice for all. This is anathema to a regime lead by an enthroned oligarchy and seeking white supremacy.

As the US oligarchy has moved to the top, they now want to dispense with the last vestiges of democracy that keep them on check. They want to control the nation so that they can place billionaire’s profit above ecology, financial justice, diversity or the constitution that guarantees all citizens the pursue of liberty and happiness.

This oligarchy was given carte blanche since the presidency of Reagan and their power has grown as global monopolies and deregulation have increased their wealth in huge increments while draining the coffers of the middle and working class.

They have become like the ghost No Face in Hayao Miyazaki’s story Spirited Away. Their hunger is limitless. They want more and more. And now they want it all.

However, they are not yet in a position to have it all.

What stands between them and having it all are two things:

1. The structures of democracy that are still operating.
2. We, the People who only voted for Trump in a tiny majority and from that majority many voted for issues he offered through his lies and are now awakening. We outnumber oligarchy by millions. And we know how democracy work. We did not resign democracy.

So we cannot give up in advance.

We cannot consent to Trump in advance, just because he says that’s what he wants. We hold our values, our constitution and our democratic rule of law and we make sure that it stands.

Our actions and choices now design how our evolution proceeds. Eventually, we will get there because the forces moving towards Unity Consciousness are cosmic potencies.

But as part of this consciousness, we can delay, distract and detour that evolution or we can move with ease and grace towards it.

What is your choice? Do you choose to participate in the Trump regime, to cater to its bigotry, to bend under its pressure and to stay in a fear-based survival mode? Then you are part of the forces trying to go back, to devolve. This will prolong and exacerbate this Pachakuti. We will require to learn in more painful ways in order to evolve.

The result is that the chaos increases, the universe becomes more violent and wobbly and our human evolution is delayed, going through a dark period which may include unthinkable oppression, conflicts and bloody civil war.

Or do you choose to summon the courage to stand against human Shadows and backlash waves? Do you choose the paradoxical option to evolve our democracy at a time where it is threatened? We need to choose to stand up as the Creator Being at a time where our nation is being threatened with destruction.

We are Invited to Change the Consequences of our Vote Through the Power of our Engagement

Many states in our nation are choosing the later, and are coming together to stop or hinder immigrant deportations, violations of women’s right over their bodies and other destructive policies that Trump’s regime is pushing.

There are a lot of people doing small tasks that add up to huge transformations. Never ever think that signing a petition, learning about your rights, sharing information or being vocal about what is going on in social media are acts that are too tiny.

Think about it. We are millions of people. If a significant portion among us signs a petition, Congress receives millions of letters letting them know where we stand. Each act you take multiplies by millions. No act is irrelevant.

What to do?

All of us need to engage on stopping Trump’s advance. Here are some things we can do:

1. Pressure Congress to do its job. There are many organizations and voters right now pressuring our Congress to stand up to Trump’s tests to dismantle democracy and urging us take action. Make signing letters and making calls a weekly priority. Every day I scan my email and the first thing I do before starting work is click on any email with petition to congress and signing those I agree with. I do this immediately. I know if I postpone it I will forget. And I know that this keeps Congress aware that we are guarding democracy along their side.

Some emails also ask for funds. If you have them, go ahead. But if not, simply skip it and click to sign the petition. Don’t allow guilt to stop you from using your power as a citizen!

If you do have a bit of money, choose the movements and causes you want to support. Even $5 makes a difference. Remember: we are going against a regime funded by billionaires. So we have to do our best so support those who are championing democracy for us.

There is a small frame of time where this engagement will be most effective in protecting democracy. And this is during the first six months in Trump’s presidency. If this does not happen, if our democratic structures cave in, then Trump will proceed to the next stage in a fascist takeover and bypass those democratic structures—which he is already trying to do.

But do not give up in advance. That is the goal of their rapid-fire policies, to overwhelm you so that you are paralyzed and give up. That’s a head game. Instead, take actions. As AOC says: “Do what you can and what you can is enough. Every small action adds up because we outnumber them!”

• 2. Know your rights. A confuse people are a disempowered people. When ICE knocks at your door, do you know what to do? Do you know your rights? Do you know what to do and say? You must know your democratic rights. This is especially true because—as Action Network reveals—ICE agents are lying, impersonating local officials and bullying you into giving up your rights. You need to be clear and confident on what you can do and what they have no right in doing. Go here to find out what you can do. Do not consent in advance. You have rights and you do not have to open the door to your house or workplace or let ICE in unless they show you a Judicial Warrant (through the slot, don’t open that door!) signed by a judge. • 3. Work with community organizations to help and to develop community strategies in your local area. Get engaged! Attend protests. Join events. Collaborate with education efforts. • 4. Get out of your comfort zone to understand the diverse groups and the oppressed groups in our country. This is not “business as usual.” Forget habits and comfort. Prepare yourself to be ready to stand for your values. Engage in acts of kindness. Listen to those with other priorities. Seek information to release biases and blame.

We need to understand what the different groups in our nation need and want because Evolved Democracy is not about choosing which groups’ needs are met but about meeting ALL our needs. How can we choose between stopping genocide in GAZA, restoring the planet or supporting working families to have decent wages? That is madness! In the richest country in the world, we can certainly take care of all our citizens ‘needs if we place human wellbeing at the forefront.

What is stopping us from taking care of all our citizen’s needs and having a decent quality of life for all? What is stopping us is the whooping 38.5% of the American wealth pie that the oligarchy and the top 10% income bracket is pocketing while workers’ piece of the pie has shrunk to 2.5%… and they want to take more from us now!)[i]

That’s why they keep us divided fighting for what our groups need when in reality if we unite, all the diverse groups that form our nation can get what they need and thrive!

• 5. Work towards the creation of alternative routes to the Collegiate vote. This voting mechanism keeps us trapped in a two party system that no longer serves We, the People. There are alternatives being worked as we speak. Check how they are evolving and see if you can be part of this movement. In the next elections, we need to have more alternatives for voting and not be trapped into a two-party system that polarizes issues. Find out more by clicking the endnote here[ii]

• 6. Refuse to follow orders that are destructive to our wellbeing. Refuse to attack human dignity and equality. Join protests. Make your actions congruent with your values. Delay, deny and resist. Do what is necessary to sabotage cruel or anti-constitutional orders or policies. If you receive a letter asking you to take a buyout or to leave your job, do NOT. Do not comply in advance. Let them fire you. Then you have legal evidence. Right now democrats have placed about 20 law suits that will be coming out. Hold your ground.

• 7. Use your talents and skills towards Evolved Democracy. Speak up. Write articles. Make videos. You will need to use your voice and stand on your values in order to advance human and planetary evolution. No more hiding! No more waiting to see what others will do! You are the leader you’ve been waiting for.

• 8. Pass vetted information and do not pass misinformation. In the case of this post, help immigrants understand the threats to them and offer as many resources as you can. Passing vetted information seems a small thing to do, but information is power and can save lives. Each of us has limited reach. Together, we can reach millions.

1. 10. Take a break. Breath and relax. Self-regulate. Take time out. This situation seems like a lot, but there is an order to it and once you rest, you will be able to get the information. (See AOC’s video below.)

1. 11. Do NOT feed the Hungry Monster. The Trump regime is a monster feeding on fear, anxiety, powerlessness, panic and apathy. Do not give them your emotions to eat and grow bigger! Do not allow them to scare you. AOC describes them as the Wizard of Oz, projecting itself to be this big monster when in reality they are a few men with limited power that depend on your perception that they are powerful. Instead, focus on OUR power as millions of citizens who love our country and want to save our democracy. We outnumber them. Focus on what you can do instead of giving away your power.

[5] Pachakuti is an Inca term meaning World Reversal. However, the Mesoamerican shamans with wide wisdom from a mix of traditions including the Mayan (with their long count calendar), the Aztec and the Incas, have a wealth of knowledge about this period which we can also call a Quantum Evolutionary Leap.

To understand this, look at how evolution usually works. It takes ages! It is not straightforward. Even our own personal growth often means one step forward and two backwards to then move forward again. For humanity, the planet and the cosmos, each evolution takes thousands of years.

But during world reversals linear evolution is substituted by quantum evolution and there are one or more cosmic consciousness transmissions downloaded into human awareness, leading to huge leaps in our understanding, consciousness and behavior. One such transmission was the birth of Democracy.

According to Mesoamerican shamans and a multitude of spiritual leaders, today we are going through another: the evolution of humans from homo sapiens to homo luminous. I perceive it as the consciousness that we are the Creator Being. Others talk about a shift from 3^rd dimension to 5^th dimension. Most wisdom keepers coincide in that we are moving into Unity Consciousness. Only at that level can we stop the wars and separation that keeps us from restoring our Earth and moving into an evolved democracy.

What happens during a World Reversal is that the new awareness is met with massive resistance. Both humans and cosmic forces pull back while others pull forward. This creates a very wobbly reality.

It is a moment of quantum evolutionary leap and also of chaos, conflict and unpredictability. It is hard for humans to navigate such time as it is characterized by the unknown and old frames of reference are lost. But at the same time, amazing windows of possibilities and opportunities open which can lead to miraculous advances—if we are open and see and seize them.
