As a child I observed something about the adults around me that both confused and amazed me. It was an inexplicable incongruence between people’s prayers and their actions; between what they professed in the temple and what they believed and chose in their lives.
The great Lebanese poet Kahlil Gibran says:
“And he to whom worshiping is a window, to open but also to shut, has not yet visited the house of his soul whose windows are from dawn to dawn.” ~ Kahlil Gibran
Profess your faith. Hire it to work for you every day in the smallest as well as the greatest task that create your days and give body to your dreams.
Give your faith arms by employing it in the making of choices and taking of actions that manifest the innermost prayer of your soul.
Give your faith legs by allowing it to spread far into your relationships in the world, to walk with you in every step, to point you in the right direction that leads to your soul’s farthest vision.
Keep it open and working 24/7!
