We often use excuses to justify why we are not addressing issues of importance, taking action on behalf of what we believe or living the life we want.
- But the word “excuse” has another meaning. To “excuse” yourself from an event is to depart.
- To “excuse” yourself from an invitation is to reject it, to decline attending.
When you use excuses not to create your dream and embody your purpose, you are declining the invitation of your soul, of the Divine. You are leaving the very life you dream of.
