Day 6: Deadlines

This is a series of six articles. Get Day 1: Pushing here. Get Day 2: Rushing here. Get Day 3: Dutifying here. Get Day 4: Judgment here. Get Day 5: Povertizing here.

If you know how long it takes you to do something, you have a delivery date.
If you don’t know, lie to yourself or make yourself the prisoner of time, you have deadlines.
The name says it all: by the time you finish, you are dead.

Deadlines are a perception or interpretation of delivery dates that makes them artificial, aggressive, rigid and often downright insane.

Few industries truly need this. Newspapers were one of the industries were deadlines were part of the trade, but even they are disappearing today.

However, our entire culture has an addiction to deadlines and often creates unnecessary stress pushing towards these constructs.

As we talked in Day 2 about Rushing, if you create good systems and manage your time well, you can honor delivery dates without creating stress pushing yourself to meet deadlines.
But if you […]

Day 5: Povertizing

This is a series of six articles. Get Day 1: Pushing here. Get Day 2: Rushing here. Get Day 3: Dutifying here. Get Day 4: Judgment here.

Povertization is the act of creating the conditions by which a sector of a population –let’s say women– are and stay poor.
Povertizing yourself as I use it in this series has to do with learned limiting beliefs that come out of your own early –or cultural– experience with money and that keep you from achieving financial freedom. It is one of the most powerful and pervasive forms of stress in one’s life and work.

Povertizing is the secret denial of money, wealth and financial freedom that we embed in our priorities, choices, interpretations and practices.

Povertizing may take the form of splitting what you love to do from how you earn your money, so that you have to work more to get money.
It may take the form of not maximizing the income you can get from what you do.
It may also be seen […]

6 Elements of Stressful Living-Day 4: Judgment

Day 4: Judgment

This is a series of six articles. Get Day 1: Pushing here. Get Day 2: Rushing here. Get Day 3: Dutifying here.

Judgment is the cousin of guilt and shame. It is the aunt of resistance and control addiction. It is sister to the dutifying of life.
Judgment once came from your elders or culture. Now you internalized those voices, and you are constantly judging yourself and feeling inadequate or declaring yourself guilty.
You add injury to this inadequacy by trying to control your results, your work or your life in order to make it look like you think it should be —which is usually the same as what you think that others think that it should be. The result is cheer misery.

If there is one thing you should abolish in your life to be free, this thing is judgment. Stop judging yourself and you will soon stop judging others. Judgment is unnecessary and inefficient. It alienates but it does not explain, solve or change anything.

Judgment may take the form […]

What are you saying?

Monday Meditation

What are you Saying?

Do you complaint about what you don’t have…
when you are doing nothing to get it?

Do you go on about how your life is such a disappointment …
when you are not willing to risk believing
it could be different?

Do you blame others, fate or childhood
for the limitations you are not willing to change?

Do you pray and affirm and when it does not happen,
you conclude that you were right all along
when you secretly knew that it would not be any better?

Because life does not bring you want you want.
Life brings you what you are.
Life does not bring you what you speak from the tongue out.
Life brings you what you say inside yourself,
with the belief you embrace,
the thoughts you feed with your emotions,
the expectations you set.

So what are you REALLY saying?

Hear your words out there.
Then turn within to your feelings and hear what you are saying.

Hear what you say out loud.
Then look at what you say with your actions and choices.

Hear what you tell others.
Then listen to what you tell yourself.

So, what are you really saying?

Tool of the Month for you: Change your Story, Change your Life

Tool of the Month for you:

Tool to: Change your Story, Change your Life

Here’s the Tool of the Month I’ve create for you.

Do you feel that there’s some invisible limit, like an invisible wall or a blind spot that’s blocking your progress or manifestation?
Do you feel that you are caught in a loop, that you are able to get so much done, grow so far or get that close to your Dream or purpose… and then something pulls you back into the loop and you are spinning again in an old familiar place?

The reason for this is that you are trapped in a life story that was either written for you early on or you’ve written it probably subconsciously, an you are not playing out that story in your life.
You are a trapped in a role within that story. To change your life past a certain set point, you need to change your story.
And that’s the latest tool I’ve developed for you. It’s called:

This alchemical process combines storytelling, tapping and an alchemical process that changes your Energy Broadcast […]

Wake up Sleeping Beauty!

Too many people are asleep in a trance and the worst part is that they don’t know it. There are four instances when our fears or habits send us in a trance:

Fear to see or know the truth
Avoidance of pain
Resistance to change and need to be in control
Resistance to go deeper, to go beneath ordinary reality into the soul, emotions and spiritual realms of being

Let’s take a look at each one, and let’s switch genders in the examples, because Sleeping Beauty Syndrome is not just a woman’s issue. It can also put a man in a trance.
Fear to see or know the truth
She wanted a boyfriend. She had been without a boyfriend for too long. So she made up her mind to have a boyfriend. So far, so good. Intention and focus are good tools to manifest. Right? Wrong!
She needed to qualify that boyfriend she desired so that it would be someone in harmony with the quality of her Essence and her life. And if those qualities did not show up, she then needed to do the work in herself […]
