that shameful mistake.

Recognize the treasure

you’ve unburied as you stumbled.

Under the rotten stench of decay,

can you smell the fragrant earth

that splits open to birth a new shoot?

Behind the bitterness of abandonment,

betrayal or divorce,

taste the sweetness:

the Sacred Self you are meeting,

the hidden truth emerging,

the fragments of your dreams

coming together into a greater vision.
