The Alchemy of Vulnerability
Alchemy is the art and science of transmuting a lesser substance or frequency into a higher one, as in transmuting lead into gold, pain into power or an obstacle into an opportunity.
Today I want to reveal one of the teachings of the Sacred Feminine School of Wisdom which has been instrumental in my ability to transmute pain into power. It is the Alchemy of Vulnerability.
The Alchemy of Vulnerability includes three Acts of Power.
- Following the Pain: When you perceive pain as your ally, you respond to it very differently as when you perceive it as an attack. When you confuse pain for an attack or threat, you avoid pain. This cripples your self-healing ability. When you recognize that pain is the cry of your BodySoul letting you know something is out of harmony, then you follow its trail to find what needs healing. This decreases your healing time and increases your self-healing ability.
- Diving into the wounds: Being vulnerable is being able to be hurt. Being vulnerable gives you the potential of being vulnerary, which means that you are able to heal your wounds and the wounds of others. The reason why this happens is that your Personal Power and Medicine are found at the bottom of your wounds. Your Breaking Points become your Power Points in the Alchemy of Vulnerability.
- Crying, emotional support and intimacy: Women have long recognized the gifts of crying, emotional support and intimacy with self and others as part of the healing and grieving process. As mothers, they are wired to give it. As friends they are able to share it. These are all Female Gifts that speed up the self-healing and grieving processes. Crying is cleansing. To receive emotional support from your friends, have a shoulder on which to cry and share your feelings are actions that evolve the Emotional Alchemy of grieving. Intimacy with self and others allows a deeper connection between people while it strengthens your Core Self.
The Alchemy of Vulnerability is a teaching and a tool from the Sacred Feminine. Both men and women can use it, but in our society many of the actions and processes are suppressed and vulnerability equated with weakness.
It is not.
